Mini 50th badge and Range Rover scripting

tesa 62852, is converted into a circular shape
Mini
Two new editions have been created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Mini, the Mini 50 Mayfair and Mini 50 Camden, and tesa tape will be making sure the specially designed commemorative badge remains firmly in place. The double sided foam tape, tesa 62852, is converted into a circular shape and then used to bond the PC/ABS back mould to the chromed front plate of the emblem after which the finished badges are clipped into place onto the radiator grille. tesa 62852 was chosen due to the ease with which it could be die-cut into shape whilst the pure acrylic adhesive will ensure the badges remain in place until the next anniversary!

tesa 6285, a 900µm thick tape
Range Rover
Manufacturer and model notation is vital to the support of any brand in the automotive industry and for Range Rover this is more important than most. For this reason tesa is very pleased that two of its recently launched double sided foam tapes have been chosen for the scripting on Range Rover Sport model which includes the HSE variant . The performance of the pure acrylic PE/EVA double sided foam tapes had to meet strict criterion but the support tesa offered during the trialling process proved ultimately to be the deciding factor. tesa 6285, a 900µm thick tape was chosen for Range Rover scripting and tesa 62852 at 510µm for HSE and Sport scripting.
