Your home in a new look
Fresh colors
One wall just like another? No way. A couple of fresh color ideas give your home a new look right away. Our trick: Small furnishings such as shelves and tables are just painted right along with the walls.

tesa® Hook-and-Loop Fastening Tape
In a pleasant light
Everything in complementary tones – here, it is never hectic. Instead, calm is the order of the day. And the magic formula for this much relaxation? Soft colors, from light gray to turquoise, beige, and brown, plus a two-level pedestal painted in the same colors.
Almost meditative: the arrangement of the squares of equal size on the light-colored wall.

tesa® Masking Tape Sensitive
A good idea, squared
Modern wall design? Here’s how: Paint pre-stretched canvas panels from your art supply store in different colors and affix them to the wall invisibly, using tesa® Hook-and-Loop Fastening Tape.
Advanced geometry: The squares hang on the wall (below), the stripes decorate the pedestal (left). So that they end up perfectly straight, mask the stripes with tesa® Painter’s Masking Tape Sensitive before painting.

Take a break!
Setting a relaxed tone
An invitation to take a break: Who could resist, when even the seating pedestal is painted the same color as a delicious latte?

Green meets orange
Circle circle, dot dot
Green meets orange: We put a new spin on this favorite color combination from the seventies and pulled it together with turquoise. And like everything else, dark orange makes its comeback, too: here, on the dots and the table.
Tip:
The cardboard circles are cut out first and then painted. So that they lie flat against the wall, we have adhered foam board (a kind of sandwich board carried by art supply and paper stores) strips to their backs.

tesa Powerstrips® Deco
Well stuck
With tesa Powerstrips®, the circles stick invisibly to the wall – in hanging and designing your arrangement, you can give your imagination free reign.

Time zones
New York, Rio, Tokyo: Here you have a unique opportunity to create your own time zones in a snap.
To do so, affix three or five alarm clocks to the wall with tesa® Hook-and-Loop Fastening Tape (also see the next page). The vertical line painted on the wall evokes lines of longitude on the globe.

Straight as an arrow
Blue like the sky and the ocean – so that the color transitions are accurate, mask the corners and strips with tesa® Painter’s Masking Tape Sensitive.
Tip:
The shelves are also painted with wall or emulsion paint, but in a slightly different nuance. If you’re unsure how to mix the colors, ask for advice at your home improvement store.

Have a good time!
Synch up
Can I call Toronto now? Sure! The reddish alarm clock shows the current local time, the others what time it is right now in the rest of the world. The clocks are affixed using tesa® Hook-and-Loop Fastening Tape.
