tesa 51910 EasySplice® FilmLine PLUS

tesa 51910 EasySplice® FilmLine PLUS is a double sided integrated flying splice tape for straight line splicing with very high tack, good adhesion to PE and PP films and which also offers a low splice thickness. It has successfully spliced PE film from 30µm to 60 µm, PP from 17µm to 30µm, PET (polyester) of 23µm and aluminium foil as thin as 20µm at speeds from 150m/min to as high as 560m/min, and tested on many leading makes of press.

tesa 51910 EasySplice® FilmLine PLUS offers the following benefits:

Flexographic Printing:

Improved performance on reels with a ‘soft’ outside structure due to the high tack adhesive and easy opening of the splitting strip.

Improved splice preparation due to the higher tack adhesive meaning less application force is required.

No time-consuming, manual adjustment of the running speed.


Rotogravure printing:

Constant web tension as no reduction in printing speed is required for splicing.

Allows for the use of integrated, automatic splicing systems.


Lamination and coating:

No changes in web tension means much reduced risk of misalignment of the film layers.

Safe and easy application onto rolls of pre-printed films.
