PCR Sealing Films
tesa® PCR Sealing Films have been especially designed for PCR cycling applications. The range incorporates a Real-Time PCR sealing film, a Universal PCR sealing film and a pierceable Aluminium sealing film. The adhesive has been optimised for secure bonding to the various types of microtiter plates used during PCR cycling. Its low initial adhesion makes handling with gloves easy as well as aiding repositioning should this be necessary, yet still provides a secure bond meaning very low rates of evaporation, as low as 1% depending on the type of plate and sealing film used.
tesa® PCR Sealing Films are produced under clean room conditions. They were tested to be free of DNA, DNAse, RNAse and PCR inhibitors using PCR and enzyme activity assays. tesa’s state of the art production facilities meet ISO 9001 and ISO 13485, ensuring quality throughout.

Due to its excellent optical clarity, tesa® 62549 allows efficient and reproducible real time DNA amplification results.
Extremely low evaporation during PCR cycling.

Consisting of a transparent and conformable PP film, tesa® offers maximum sealing during PCR cycling combined with easy handling.
Minimal evaporation during PCR cycling even after repositioning.
Easy handling even with gloves.
tesa® 62547 Aluminium PCR Sealing Film
The aluminium foil and high cohesion adhesive offer excellent barrier properties and pierceability.
Easily pierceable without adhesive residues.
Low evaporation during PCR cycling.
