Double Sided Non-Woven Tapes

Double sided non woven tapes are hand-tearable which makes them ideal for manual applications. Double sided non woven tapes can also be treated to give them a very high temperature resistance - up to 200°C short-term - making those double sided non woven tapes with acrylic adhesives ideal for high temperature splicing applications, such as in corrugated packaging production.

The relatively low total thickness of double sided non woven tape means they can conform to slightly irregular surfaces, but those with a high adhesive coat weight, such as tesa 51571 double sided non woven tape, will provide the best results. Additionally they are also translucent which means it is possible to see the substrates through the carrier if this is desirable. However, once in place double sided non woven tapes cannot be removed.
