High Temperature Masking Tapes

High temperature masking tapes are used for applications with oven drying temperatures ranging from 120°C to 160°C, and these typically cover OEM automotive paint spraying and stove enamelling. A creped paper backing is used in combination with a cross-linked rubber adhesive for high temperature masking tapes to provide the relevant temperature resistance. All high temperature masking tapes are suitable for use with both solvent and water based tapes, adhere well to various substrates and provide good adherence of the paint system used to the tape backing.

tesa 4309 is resistant to 120°C for 1 hour, tesa 4341 to 140°C and tesa 4318 to 160°C.
