tesa® laser labels have a brittle highly cross-linked PU-Acrylic double layer backing with excellent durability and high resistance against chemicals, fuels and solvents, temperature and all weather conditions. The adhesive system consists of a resin modified acrylic suitable for a wide range of substrates.

The superb optical resolution and contrast enable a clear presentation of information, while a high degree of flexibility in terms of content and design is guaranteed. To establish a high degree of security, customised information, such as company logos, can be permanently embedded in the backing construction of the label.

tesa® Laser Transfer Film

Fulfilling the legal and OEM-specific regulations, tesa® laser labels can be used as a tamper-proof identification solution over the entire lifetime of a product and also as a data carrier system for intelligent in-process steering. With the innovative laser transfer film, tesa provides a highly resistant and tamper-proof identification solution for a variety of glass and ceramic surfaces.

The laser transfer film is a dry transfer tape for direct marking that contains laser sensitive pigments that are transferred to the substrate by the use of a solid state Nd:YAG marking laser. As opposed to conventional glass and ceramics identification, this happens without exposing the substrate to mechanical stress. The transferred information cannot be removed or manipulated without destroying the surface. The unique laser transfer film is ideally suited to all flexible and individual content such as barcodes and sequential numbers, for example on car window panes.
