Low vehicle noise and vibration levels inside a car are essential and long term prevention of Noise Vibration Harshness (NVH) or Buzz Squeak and Rattle (BSR) is possible by using tesa tapes during assembly. What is NVH?
Typically
NVH and
BSR problems can be divided into two categories. Firstly, noise caused by
buzz,
rattle and vibration, airborne noise or squeaks between adjoining components. Secondly, sealing, damping and bridging: sealing against water and dust leakage, bridging of gaps between component parts and damping of shock and
