Using tesa® tear tape means that whilst the contents are safely protected, the package can be opened quickly and easily.

tesa offers the corrugated cardboard industry an assortment of self adhesive tear tapes all of which can be integrated into the production process and capable of running at speeds in excess of 250m per minute with the appropriate machinery and set-up.

tesa® 53497 is a heavy duty tear tape which is extremely tear and nick resistant. It is idea for opening heavy grades of carton and solid boxes.

tesa® 51235 has a PP/PE co-extruded backing and the elastic properties of the special PP used allows an opening at an angle. It is suitable for use with medium and heavy weight grades of solid board as 2-ply corrugated board.

tesa® 51230 is a general purpose tear tape suitable for medium grades of solid board and 2-ply corrugated board.
