Gaffer tapes sit in the mid range of cloth tapes and typically have a higher mesh count. tesa 53949 and tesa 53799 are 0.31mm thick and both have a mesh count of 80 leading to about a 50% higher tensile strength than duct tapes.

Duct Tape
