To meet the continually changing requirements in the construction and design of furniture, tesa has developed a special modular system consisting of various foam backings, innovative acrylic adhesive masses, and filmic and paper liners. With this new system, tesa is supporting the trend toward light, time-saving, and low-cost systems of fixing parts, which are increasingly replacing traditional methods such as screws and nails.

Because of their special characteristics, foam assembly and installation tapes are the preferred alternative. They fix items solidly and reliably in place and compensate for uneven surfaces. At the same time, the foam backing absorbs shocks and movements and the join itself remains flexible.
