Masking tapes

For all standard applications, tesa offers masking solutions that meet all the typical requirements of painting in the marine industry.

tesa® 4308 blue masking tape ensures that paint edges are precise and clean. It is also suitable for infrared and oven drying at up to 110°C.

The premium painter’s tape tesa® 4309, which is suitable for oven drying at up to 120°C, offers particularly high flexibility and very good adhesion to curved surfaces.

The painter’s tapes tesa® 4317 refinish tape 80 and tesa® 4329 refinish tape 70 are the right choice for spray painting. They adhere securely to all surfaces and are distinguished by their high resistance to moisture and are heat resistant up to 80°C and 70°C respectively.

tesa® 4334 precision mask is very well suited to all painting and varnishing work that calls for particularly precise, defined edges. Its extremely thin backing material prevents paint seepage and bleed-through. The very flexible tesa® 4319, by contrast, is particularly useful for masking tight curves. It is highly stretchable, pliant and tear resistant.

Finally, tesa® 4407 UV is a high performance masking tape which is UV resistant for up to eight weeks as well as to variations in temperature and to sunlight, wind, and humidity.
