Tapes for boatbuilders

Adhesive tapes to protect delicate surfaces, double sided tapes for permanent and temporary fixing or anti-slip tapes to prevent slipping on wet surfaces – tesa has an adhesive tape for every application in boatbuilding and shipbuilding.

The flagship of tesa's new adhesive tape assortment for boatbuilding and boat maintenance is tesa® 4407 UV Paper Grade masking tape, which was specifically developed for the marine industry, to ensure all painted lines are sharp and precise. It is also UV resistant for up to eight weeks as well as to variations in temperature and to sunlight, wind, and humidity.

tesa also offers various short or long term protection tapes for different interior and exterior surfaces. tesa® 50530, for example, can be used to protect varnished and freshly painted surfaces for up to nine months, a secure way of protecting them even during overland transportation. tesa® anti-slip tapes provide a firm footing even on wet surfaces.

The tesa assortment also includes various double sided tapes for mounting various materials during production – from decorative trims and exterior coatings to carpeting and insulation.
