This required teams to be sent out to retrofit replacements at significant cost, inconvenience to the end- | Based on our experience of this application we offered tesa 4957, a double sided foam tape which has ‘ift Rosenheim’ approval for the bonding of PVC bars on glass (Summary Test report No. 509 30742/1 K1). This has rectified the situation saving our customer significant costs, protecting their reputation and importantly increasing customer satisfaction. |
| Customer was applying a double sided foam tape manually, a potentially slow process and therefore inefficient and costly. | Our solution was to supply a double sided foam tape in spool form (long length rolls which can be thousands of metres long). By also installing a tesa dispenser specially developed for dispensing tape in this format we were able to automate the application process by significantly reducing the number of roll changes and time to do so, as well as the associated product wastage. For example, a 1000m spool saves 20 changes of 50m and 40 changes of 25mm rolls. |
