We consider it vital to spend time on the customer’s shop floor offering help and advice, utilising the 40 years plus combined experience of our UK team. This is critical on new business, to ensure our potential customer gets the very best from our tapes. As an example, we implemented the following procedure over a 3 to 4 week period at a large potential customer.
• We arranged a trial programme with operators on both shifts, assisted by our own staff, to advise on the subtle adjustments required for best print quality.
• We trained all the operators, including assessing the pre-press area and making any recommendations for procedural amendments. We also completed the relevant documentation and prepared the SOPs.
• Even after consistent results, we continued to make periodic visits to provide further support.
This procedure proved extremely successful and ensured the customer had confidence in our products and people.
